FounderFIREis a compound word. In the personal finance world, FIRE is an acronym: Financial Independence, Retire Early. It's a concept built around reaching financial independence, and for us, doing it through entrepreneurship.

Hey, my name is Elliott. I'm starting FounderFIRE as a means to create the space that I'm having a hard time finding: the business, personal finance, and investing written by a single individual, based on lived experience, and all about financial independence through the lens of trying to make ends meet via rubbing two sticks together, bootstrapping a startup, and documenting the hard, ugly, and boring number-crunching equation of calculating the napkin math to replacing your full-time income via drinking coffees, pecking at a keyboard, claude --dangerously-skip-permissions on this laptop's ass, and trying to make a damn dollar doing it. In Hong Kong... Mexico City... or wherever...

So here I am, trying to do just that.
